Two Hands Winery, established in 1999 by Michael Twelftree and Richard Mintz, is an Australian wine producer known for crafting premium Shiraz wines that showcase the diverse terroirs of South Australia. The Two Hands Shiraz "Zippy's Block" is a full-bodied, rich and concentrated single-vineyard Shiraz. Marked by the 2008 warm growing season, it's a wine with both power and finesse - drinking beautifully now with its fully integrated tannins and secondary flavours, still with the potential to age further for another 10 years.

"Inky purple. Liqueur-like blackberry and dark chocolate aromas are complicated by suggestions of potpourri, Indian spices and cola. Lush, broad and seamless, offering dense dark berry and violet pastille flavors and a sneaky note of vanillin oak. Open-knit and very attractive now, finishing with mounting spiciness and excellent clarity. Undeniably rich but this wine's energy keeps its flamboyant fruit in check and suggests that it will reward a few years of cellaring."
