  • Nathan Hill

Our Chairman's a prolific angel investor and passionate about wine, WSET qualified and runs wine tastings for business, friends and charity as well as travelling the world in search of the perfect wine. He’s far happier with a well priced decent quality wine than anything too fancy.

Roast leg of lamb and a lovely Pinot Noir from Burgundy, Oregon or New Zealand sets Nathan aquiver! For easy drinking, a pleasantly saline Picpoul de Pinet with some canapes will do, thanks.

  • Jeff Rean

The quest into the Wine Trade started in the hospitality industry having worked in a range of high-class establishments where Jeff grew a passion for Wine. Wanting to learn as much as possible, he completed an International Wine Business BA Honours programme from Plumpton College alongside his WSET. After nurturing an extensive private client base in the Fine Wine Department at Laithwaite's Wine over the last 8 years, he really enjoys helping customers develop a cellar of wines to lay down, as well as the buzz of the newest En Primeur campaigns.

After a honeymoon to Japan, Jeff grew an infatuation for Japanese food which pairs beautifully with mature Alsatian Pinot Gris. In the cellar, Chianti Classico is a go to, along with Palo Cortado Sherry in the Summer.

A recent Greek holiday experience of ‘fisherman’s’ pasta paired with a glass of Santorini’s finest Assyrtiko was one of the most memorable lunches in recent years. Yamas!
