2024 was an extremely challenging year, with the lowest yields the domaine has ever seen — no Bourgogne Rouge or Mazoyères was made. Despite the adversity, Taupenot-Merme has produced elegant, beautifully perfumed wines, showing power and finesse across their key holdings in Morey-Saint-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, and Gevrey-Chambertin.
Everything was destemmed to preserve precision, with careful extraction giving wines that are finely structured, fresh, and expressive of their terroir. These are Burgundies built for enjoyment now or for cellaring, offering the signature combination of elegance, depth, and perfume even in a tiny vintage.

It has a very floral and expressive bouquet with pure strawberry and cranberry fruit, beautifully defined and demonstrating the most vigour. The palate is well balanced with fine tannins, just a touch of white pepper and spice, cohesive and quite prolonged on the finish. This is an excellent Gevrey Premier Cru and a great success."
