Grown on Hermitage’s famed granite slopes, this 100% Syrah from Château De La Gardine balances power with elegance. A serious red with ageing potential, but already showing plenty of charm now, especially when enjoyed with grilled lamb or hearty stews.

With 6 years maturity, its meaty and structured with dark black fruits and woven grippy tannins. There is depth and balance here and after a few minutes opening up, the tannins soften down to coat the mouth. A powerhouse of a Hermitage that can easily age for another 10-15 years."
