Gorgeous Chardonnay from one of Argentina's most exciting producers, which has wonderful aromas of citrus and tropical fruit. Chardonnay is an unusual variety for the region, though this works really well with its aging in stainless steel and light lees stirring adding some complexity.
In the heart of Clos de los Siete, Bodega DiamAndes stands as a winemaking haven, producing wines that resonate with intensity and finesse from their beautiful vineyards high up in Argentina's Uco Valley. Set up in 2005 by the esteemed Bonnie Family (the famous name behind Malartic Lagraviere & Gazin Rocquencourt), this is another very successful project from an established Bordeaux dynasty.
A crisp, fresh, crowd-pleasing style of chardonnay that does everything you expect. Tropical flavours of Mango and Pineapple are jumping out with more nuanced notes of apricot and orange blossom. The little bit of lees contact helps to flesh it out without compromising its precise style.

What the critics say:
"A clean, fresh chardonnay with aromas of sliced apples, apricot stones, peaches and lemons. Medium-bodied with fresh acidity and a straightforward finish. Vegan. Drink now."
"The 2021 DiamAndes ‘Perlita’ Chardonnay from the Uco Valley in Mendoza, Argentina, is produced by the Bonnie family (owners of Ch. Malartic Lagravière Grand Cru Classé de Graves) who here show their class with a vibrantly pure Chardonnay. Aged for 6 months on the lees in stainless steel, it’s soft, supple and fruity with just a hint of creaminess in the mouth."
