The 2024 ‘Fahrlay Terrassen’ GG is a bone-dry Riesling from one of the most distinctive parcels within the Pündericher Marienburg vineyard in the Mosel.

The name Fahrlay Terrassen refers to a small, terraced section of the historic Fahrlay site that sits close to the Mosel ferry landing at Pünderich. This plot is unique within Marienburg for its blue slate (blauer Schiefer) soils - a hard, very mineral Devonian slate that forces vine roots deep and contributes strong mineral tension, salinity and structural focus to the wine.

"GG" (Grosses Gewächs) is the VDP’s designation for a dry wine from the top tier in the classification, roughly equivalent to “Grand Cru”.
