Based in the prestigious Côte de Nuits village of Vosne-Romanée, Domaine Cacheux is a family-run estate with a winemaking history spanning four generations. The domaine covers approximately 7 hectares of vines, primarily within Vosne-Romanée, with holdings in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny, and the renowned Échezeaux Grand Cru.

Les Chalandins sits just above the village of Vosne-Romanée, on the slope between Vosne and Nuits-Saint-Georges, and is widely regarded as one of the commune’s most serious village-level climats. Its elevated position and thin, limestone-rich soils give wines a naturally fine structure, fresh acidity and a marked sense of precision, often flirting with Premier Cru quality.

Domaine Jacques Cacheux

The Cacheux family's journey into winemaking can be traced back to the late 1800s when they first began cultivating vines in the Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges areas.

However, it wasn't until the 1930s that Jacques Cacheux, the eponymous founder of the domaine, truly established the family's presence in the Burgundian wine world.
