Private Tour & Tasting at Chilworth Manor Vineyard with Honest Grapes

Just an hour from London, Chilworth Manor has been part of the Surrey Hills landscape for nearly a thousand years. The south-facing slopes around the manor are planted with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier - and the English rosé and sparkling wines they produce are, quietly, becoming rather good.

On 26th September our co-founder Nathan is heading down for the day and we'd love you to join him. After a guided tour of the vineyard, you'll settle into the beautiful Watch House, a purpose-built tasting room set amongst the vines, for a tasting of Chilworth's new releases alongside a curated selection from the Honest Grapes cellar - with hosts from Chilworth Manor and Nathan on hand throughout to talk through the wines, the estate, and why English sparkling deserves to be taken seriously. You'll learn about the fascinating history of the Manor dating back nearly 1,000 years. Mentioned in the Doomsday Book- William the Conqueror passed the Manor down to his half-brother Odo!

Lunch is included, served unhurriedly alongside the wines. You'll leave with a gift-wrapped bottle of Chilworth's still rosé and sparkling wine - and, we'd wager, a new favourite English producer.
