Symington Family Estates

The Symington family has been making Port in the Douro for over 140 years, controlling some of the region's finest quintas including Quinta do Vesuvio and Quinta do Bomfim. They remain one of the last great family-owned Port houses, with Andrew James Symington now leading the fourth generation. Their philosophy centres on traditional foot-treading in granite lagares and extended aging in their historic cellars.
