"The 2023 Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is composed of 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple colored, after a little swirling, the nose erupts with a powerful perfume of cassis, violets, and juicy blackberries, giving way to underlying Chinese five spice, dusty soil, and garrigue hints. Full-bodied, the palate is classic To Kalon—rich and structured with firm yet velvety tannins and bags of freshness, finishing long and ferrous. Gorgeous!"
