Les Arvelets sits on the southern edge of Pommard, where the soils turn more limestone-rich and the wines gain an extra layer of finesse. We find this combines Pommard's characteristic power with remarkable elegance, showing concentrated red cherry fruit, warming spices, and that distinctive earthy backbone that makes great Burgundy so compelling.
