There are few things more satisfying than a properly made paella - and fewer still than learning to make one from the people who do it best.
Join us for a special evening in partnership with Arros QD, one of London’s leading destinations for authentic wood-fired paella. Rooted in Valencian tradition, this immersive experience combines hands-on cooking, exceptional Spanish wines, and a relaxed chef-led dinner.
Guests will be welcomed with an arrival drink before gathering around the kitchen counter for an intimate paella masterclass led by Executive Chef Eduardo and the Arros QD team. Over the course of the session, guests will explore the fundamentals of paella-making - from rice selection and stock building to sofrito, fire control, and the techniques behind achieving the perfect socarrat, the prized crispy base that separates a great paella from a good one.
Guests are encouraged to step into the kitchen space, ask questions, and get involved in the cooking process as much as they like, and together with the chefs, the group will prepare a smaller paella during the demonstration, which everyone will enjoy tasting fresh from the fire before being at the Chef’s Table for dinner.
Throughout the evening, Honest Grapes host Jeff will guide guests through a selection of carefully chosen Spanish wines, offering insight into Spain’s rich food and wine culture and pairing each pour with the dishes being served.
Dinner will include a seasonal menu of snacks, starters, mains, and dessert - a celebration of fire cooking, Spanish hospitality, and the timeless pleasure of sharing food and wine around the table.
