Albert Bichot is one of Burgundy’s most established houses, with over 100 ha of owned vineyards and access to an additional 250 ha.

Covering 5.2 hectares of the Moulin-à-Vent appellation, this vineyard sits at the heart of the Rochegrès climat, where granite bedrock breaks through the surface, shaping the character and structure of the vines.

In 2024, Bichot's lighter, elegant style really suited the vintage, producing wines that combine freshness, finesse, and approachable charm across the range. The reds show lifted aromatics and pure fruit, while the whites are expressive without being heavy, balancing richness and vivacity beautifully.

Domaine de Rochegrès is the Beaujolais wing of the Albert Bichot portfolio, comprising 5.2 hectares in the esteemed Moulin-à-Vent cru. The vines are situated at the eponymous Rochegrès single vineyard, named after the local granite (roche) in the soils.
