Named in honour of the last cellarer at the Abbey de Citeaux, Dom Goblet is the domaine's top Premier Cru red. Jasper Morris noted how it "reflects on the nose the pure class of the Epenots vineyard. There is a quintessential precision in the fruit, a tension at the back, and a structure which will enable this wine to age supremely well."
Ripe, spicy and powerful, but sophisticated and plushly-perfumed too, it is really showing why Pommard's senior crus are pushing harder and harder for Grand Cru status.
