Albert Bichot is one of Burgundy’s most established houses, with over 100 ha of owned vineyards and access to an additional 250 ha.
In 2024, Bichot's lighter, elegant style really suited the vintage, producing wines that combine freshness, finesse, and approachable charm across the range. The reds show lifted aromatics and pure fruit, while the whites are expressive without being heavy, balancing richness and vivacity beautifully.
What the critics say:
"A wonderfully fresh if markedly more restrained nose only grudgingly reveals its overtly spicy aromas of primarily red currant and pretty floral hints. There is excellent volume power and mid-palate density to the muscular and lightly mineral-driven flavors that possess a seductive mid-palate which contrasts somewhat with the youthfully austere, complex and impressively long finale. Much like the Malconsorts though, this too is very much built-to-age so patience strongly suggested."
