Based in the prestigious Côte de Nuits village of Vosne-Romanée, Domaine Cacheux is a family-run estate with a winemaking history spanning four generations. The domaine covers approximately 7 hectares of vines, primarily within Vosne-Romanée, with holdings in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny, and the renowned Échezeaux Grand Cru.

Échezeaux stretches across the Côte de Nuits between Grands-Échézeaux and Clos de Vougeot, with a complex mosaic of soils that range from deeper clay layers to limestone and scree. This patchwork gives wines from Échezeaux breadth, depth and a blend of both power and refinement.

Domaine Jacques Cacheux

The Cacheux family's journey into winemaking can be traced back to the late 1800s when they first began cultivating vines in the Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges areas.

However, it wasn't until the 1930s that Jacques Cacheux, the eponymous founder of the domaine, truly established the family's presence in the Burgundian wine world.
