"Juicy dark red fruit on the palate, supported by fine tannins and a mineral undertone. Harmonious and precise, finishing clean with subtle persistence."
Stewart Pryce, Honest Grapes Wine Club Manager
Albert Bichot is one of Burgundy’s most established houses, with over 100 ha of owned vineyards and access to an additional 250 ha.
In 2024, Bichot's lighter, elegant style really suited the vintage, producing wines that combine freshness, finesse, and approachable charm across the range. The reds show lifted aromatics and pure fruit, while the whites are expressive without being heavy, balancing richness and vivacity beautifully.
What the critics say:
"From the light soils of Champ Traversin. A slightly paler crimson than its stable mates. Alpine strawberries and a little peppery note. A very stylish, delicately lacy red fruit, dancing detail, definitely quite peppery further back, with fair persistence. Drink from 2030-2036. Tasted Oct 2025."
