A top domaine making rich, succulent wines of great style. Michel Maret has handed over the running of La Charbonnière to his daughters, Véronique who is now the winemaker and her sister Caroline handles the day-to-day.

The vineyards are located in Vacqueyras, a neighboring appellation to Châteauneuf-du-Pape, known for its robust and characterful wines. Medium to full-bodied with a velvety texture, Charbonnière's 2022 Vacqueyras showcases layers of juicy red berries, dark plums, and subtle spice. Enjoy it with grilled or roasted meats, such as lamb chops, beef tenderloin, or pork loin, rustic stews or casseroles (particularly those with Provençal herbs), or Mediterranean dishes like ratatouille or roasted vegetable tarts.
