Whether crafting wines from the Côte-d'Or, Beaujolais, or her native Victoria, Jane's wines exude her distinct style—delicate and inviting, adorned with supple tannins and vibrant, luscious fruits.
Through gentle extraction techniques, thoughtful oak usage, and early bottling, Jane has created Burgundies that are accessible and appealing even in their early stages.
What the critics say:
"The 2020 Corton Grand Cru is a blend of Bressandes, Perrière and Maréchaude with 50% whole bunch. It has a wonderful bouquet, so pretty with sparkling red cherries and crushed strawberry fruit, a touch of orange sorbet. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, taut and fresh, very prices with a mineral-driven finish. I doubt that a former hairdresser has ever made such a delicious and classy Corton. Just three barrels made."
"The final wine is a blend between a mix of Bressandes and Maréchaudes vinified together with 60% whole bunches, and a destemmed barrel of more structured Perrières. Rich deep imperial purple, a wealth of fruit, very nicely balanced, the crunchy whole bunch notes turn up at the back inside a ripe summer pudding array of black and red fruit. Lovely weight of fruit on the mid palate. Tasted: October 2021."
