Domaine du Pavillon is a respected Burgundy estate and part of Albert Bichot, one of Burgundy’s most established houses, with over 100 ha of owned vineyards and access to an additional 250 ha.

In 2024, their lighter, elegant style really suited the vintage, producing wines that combine freshness, finesse, and approachable charm across the range. The reds show lifted aromatics and pure fruit, while the whites are expressive without being heavy, balancing richness and vivacity beautifully.

What the critics say:

90-92/100Neal Martin, Vinous

"The 2024 Corton Clos des Maréchaudes Grand Cru has a simple bouquet with raspberry and red cherry fruit, just a little lightweight for a Grand Cru but at least clean. The palate is medium-bodied, quite elegant in style, gentle weight with decent backbone. Nice sapidity on the finish - a decent early-drinking Grand Cru with minimum of fuss."

90-92/100Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy

"Crimson rather than ruby, modest concentration. This is quite discreet at the outset but the fruit comes properly into play towards the back of the palate. As often with Corton you might query the Grand Cru tag, but this has been well made and the bright ‘little red fruits’ persist nicely."
