Clemens Busch, a winery that has gained a cult following over the past three decades for their laser-sharp, richly textured, terroir-defined wines.
Among the first German winemakers to embrace organic farming in 1984, their estate fully transitioned to biodynamic production in 2005. They are members of the prestigious VDP organisation of the top producers in Germany.

"Bottled in early September, the Pündericher 2019 Riesling Vom Roten Schiefer opens with a very elegant and aromatic bouquet of ripe stone fruits (mirabelles) that are perfectly intertwined with the crystalline and crunchy expression of red, iron-rich slate. Juicy, piquant and very salty on the palate, this is a pure and fresh yet intense, structured and crystalline Riesling with a charming finish, remarkable terroir expression and just 11.5% alcohol. Tasted at the domain in September 2020."
