Chilworth Manor Classic Cuvée 'Alwyn', 2019 is the estate’s flagship traditional-method sparkling wine, produced from vineyards planted beside the historic Chilworth Manor site in Surrey, a property with over 1,000 years of recorded history. The cuvée is named after Alwyn the Saxon, an early recorded owner of the manor.

The 2019 growing season in southern England was warm and relatively stable, delivering good ripeness and clean fruit while maintaining the naturally high acidity essential for quality sparkling wine. Yields were moderate, and fruit condition was strong at harvest.

The result is a structured, dry site-specific English Classic Cuvée with firm acidity, fine mousse and a clear focus on balance and ageing potential.
