Château Suduiraut is located close to Château d’Yquem and its sloping hillsides is made up of gravel, sand, limestone and clay soils.
Since it was sold to the AXA insurance in 1992, the Château has been lavished with attention and the wines have greatly benefited from the investment.

Still resting in 70% new barrels, this monster of a Sauternes offers a huge nose of honeyed citrus, orange marmalade, spice, brioche, and almond paste. Full-bodied, rich, and massively concentrated, nevertheless, it somehow stays flawlessly balanced, fresh, and light on its feet."
