Château-Fuissé Selection
Château-Fuissé Selection
- White & Red Still
- Chardonnay
From mineral-rich soils to sun-kissed slopes, Château-Fuissé's tapestry of terroirs shines through in each of their wines, showcased in the brilliant selection below:
Pouilly-Fuissé Tête de Cuvée, Château-Fuissé, 2020 (2x75cl)
"A bright nose resembling a Chablisien profile, find light aromas of fresh lemon peel, pear, hay and lemongrass. With aeration, find more depth from more pithy fruit, orange blossom brioche and a saline finish. Elegant and hard to resist now." 94/100 Points Anna-Christina Cabrales, Wine Enthusiast
Famille Vincent Morgon 'Les Charmes', Château-Fuissé, 2020 (2x75cl)
"Finally, the 2020 Famille Vincent Morgon ‘Les Charmes’ a Beaujolais of some style produced in Les Charmes (one of the six lieux dits of Morgon) by the Vincent family, based at the 15th-century Château-Fuissé, in the heart of Pouilly-Fuissé, for over 150 years. Made from 100 per cent Gamay and matured in oak, it’s traditional in style with plenty of intense, concentrated, fleshy red fruit and a slightly earthy finish. It’s ready now but will age well if given the chance." Jonathan Ray, The Spectator Wine Club
Juliénas, Château-Fuissé, 2019 (2x75cl)
"This traditional Beaujolais has the tell tale hallmark of Juliénas with the notes of peony in the bouquet together with raspberries, redcurrants and strawberry. It fills the mouth with flavour and has very fine fruit on the palate with good intensity and finishes with a long aftertaste with a fine tannic structure. First class Beaujolais." Honest Grapes
