Based in the prestigious Côte de Nuits village of Vosne-Romanée, Domaine Cacheux is a family-run estate with a winemaking history spanning four generations. The domaine covers approximately 7 hectares of vines, primarily within Vosne-Romanée, with holdings in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny, and the renowned Échezeaux Grand Cru.

‘Les Plantes’ is a small Premier Cru climat located on the northern side of Chambolle-Musigny, close to the border with Morey-Saint-Denis. The vineyard sits on well-drained limestone and clay-limestone soils, with a notably stony topsoil that encourages finesse and aromatic lift rather than power.

At Domaine Jacques Cacheux, the fruit for Les Plantes comes from mature vines, farmed with a hands-on, low-intervention approach that prioritises vine health and balanced yields.
