Bourgogne Côte d'Or rouge, Domaine Tollot-Beaut, 2022

Bourgogne Côte d'Or Rouge Domaine Tollot-Beaut 2022 is a classic, well-made Pinot Noir that overdelivers for its level.

On the palate it’s supple and nicely concentrated, thanks in part to older vines (many over 30 years), with bright acidity and fine, gentle tannins. Oak is used sparingly (around 20–25% new), so the fruit stays front and centre, backed by a light savoury edge and a clean, mineral finish.

The 2022 vintage in Burgundy was warm and generous, producing ripe fruit with good balance and relatively low disease pressure. At Tollot-Beaut, yields were healthy and quality high, resulting in wines that are expressive, approachable early.
