For decades Boekenhoutskloof has set the benchmark for quality in Stellenbosch, widely admired for wines that combine bold fruit, intelligent structure and a unique sense of place.

Boekenhoutskloof Franschhoek Cabernet Sauvignon comes from vines grown on and around the estate in the Franschhoek Valley. A small portion of Cabernet Franc is included to add perfume and complexity. This Cabernet is softer, more nuanced and lighter in style than its Stellenbosch counterpart.

"Nearly all sourced from the farm in Franschhoek, this is the more floral of the two Boekenhoutskloof Cabernet Sauvignons in 2023, partly thanks to the presence of 14% Cabernet Franc in the blend. Carrying its 80% new oak lightly, it's leafy, scented and enticing, with filigree tannins, impressive underlying structure and acidity and dried herb, cassis and paprika flavours."
