The Auxey-Duresses offers a more accessible but equally compelling glimpse into the domaine's craftsmanship, with vibrant fruit, silky tannins, and a fresh, mineral-driven profile.

"The 2024 Auxey-Duresses 1er Cru has a fragrant, floral bouquet with ebullient red fruit, baked cherries and hints of bergamot coming through with aeration. I appreciate the delineation here. The palate is medium-bodied, smoother with greater depth than the Village Cru, lightly spiced with a bright and lively finish. Very attractive. "
"Deep ruby to purple. A more classic elegant fruit on the nose. Good acidity here retains the freshness behind quite a good concentration of fruit. Brisk red fruit with some passion fruit alongside the red berries."
