Enzo Boglietti is a grower based in La Morra, whose wines have really blown us away. Originally a dairy farmer, Enzo shifted to wine in the late '80s, inheriting old vines from his grandfather and mother. He was part of the modernist wave in Barolo, favouring new oak and plush fruit, but since 2016 has shifted toward longer, cooler macerations and larger, older barrels. The result? More purity, freshness, and vineyard expression – and the 2021s are his finest wines yet.

He works top sites like Fossati, Brunate, and Arione (the latter famously shared with Giacomo Conterno), and the wines show real class – from the perfumed, supple La Morra crus to the powerful structure of the Case Nere.

We’re offering an exciting range of Boglietti’s 2021s below. These wines are superb, the estate is clearly on the rise, and the pricing – for now – remains under the radar. We’d highly recommend snapping up a case or two while it lasts.
