Collection: Domaine William Fèvre

One of Chablis' most iconic producers, William Fèvre established the Domaine in 1957 with just seven hectares, and almost 70 years later today stands at 48 hectares, with many of the region's greatest 1er Cru and Grand Cru sites represented. Today the estate is under the ownership of House Joseph Henriot, and continues to go from strength to strength.

William Fèvre is a famous name for any Chablis drinker, and for us this is an estate very much at the top of its game. One of our first offers from the Domaine was on the Les Clos 2020, a thrilling Grand Cru vineyard where Fèvre is up there with the best, including Raveneau!

The Wine

There is much to love in the Fèvre portfolio, not least the village Chablis which is always excellent value! Stylistically the wines have great Chablis typicity, yet there is extra weight & concentration befitting the best producers in the region, so they always benefit from extended cellaring.

Moving up the ranks, the Premier Cru Montée de Tonnerre is always a favourite, whilst we particularly recommend two Grands Crus: the Les Clos, which is one of Chablis' most coveted vineyards; and the magnificent Bougros Côte Bouguerots, the dark horse in the Fèvre's portfolio and often their best wine of the vintage.
