Château La Tour de By is a large family estate, consisting of 94 hectares of vineyards and is located in Bégadan at the viticultural northern extremes of the Médoc. The wine is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot.

"The 2020 La Tour de By is a powerful, explosive Médoc. A blast of dark cherry, leather, smoke, tobacco, incense and grilled herbs opens first. Cabernet Sauvignon dominates both the flavor profile and structural feel. There is certainly much to like, but a few years in the cellar seems warranted."

"This is dark-fruited with notes of spices, walnut and cedar. Nicely textured, creamy and round, medium- to full-bodied with a juicy berry-fruit character. Polished finish with notes of leafy herbs. Attractive now, but better in a year or two."
