Catena Zapata is one of Argentina’s most acclaimed wineries, recognised for elevating Argentine wine, particularly Malbec, to global prominence. Under the leadership of Nicolás Catena and his daughter Laura Catena, the winery has focused on high-altitude viticulture and cutting-edge techniques to craft world-class wines.

The grapes for their Argentino Malbec are sourced from the Nicasia and Adrianna vineyards which are located at some of the highest altitudes in Mendoza, where cool nights and warm days create ideal conditions for slow grape ripening, allowing for greater complexity, intense colour, and refined tannins.
